Welcome to geometry. In this class, we'll learn a variety of geometric topics, including transformations, parallel and perpendicular lines and their angles, triangle similarity and congruence, trigonometry, proofs, and two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes. Geometry is a required course for most four-year colleges and universities. The Oregon University System requires students to have earned a C grade or higher.
Other Geometry teachers are more than willing to answer your questions! Teachers are typically available for brief questions before and after school. However,if you need more extensive help or would like an additional opportunity to show proficiency in a learning target, Geometry teachers will be available for extended time after school from 3:00 – 3:45 on the days specified below. The Geometry teachers are:
Caroline Blackledge in Room 225 (available Monday afternoons)
Jim Wiechmann in room 304 (available Tuesday afternoons)
Reed Elwyn in Room 226 (available Wednesday afternoons)
Jill Hubbard in Room 309(available Thursday afternoons)
